Xbox One is a line of eighth generation home video game consoles developed by Microsoft. Announced in May 2013, it is the successor to Xbox 360 and the third console in the Xbox family. It was first released in North America, parts of Europe, Australia, and South America in November 2013, and in Japan, China, and other European countries in September 2014. It is the first Xbox game console to be released in China, specifically in the Shanghai Free-Trade Zone. Microsoft marketed the device as an “all-in-one entertainment system”, hence the name ‘Xbox One. The Xbox One line mainly competes against consoles such as Sony’s PlayStation 4 and Nintendo’s Wii U and Switch.
Xbox didn’t even need it’s two decent 360 offering this month. Winner Xbox.
World War Z has gotten most of the gaming press but for my money, My Time At Portia is the Game of the Week.
So I will put Borderlands: Game Of The Year edition on the back burner. Chances are I will eventually buy it… for the PlayStation 5.
A pretty busy week this week with a couple of high profile releases such as a new MLB the Show and Tropico and another Assassin’s Creed remaster.
The winner is Xbox this month through sheer numbers really.
A relatively light week with one big release that is definitely worth looking into ( Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice) and a good Advanced Wars style game (War Theater).
