Wayne Elliot Knight (born August 7, 1955) is an American actor and former private investigator. In television, he played Newman in Seinfeld (1992–1998) and Officer Don Orville in 3rd Rock from the Sun (1996–2001). His other television roles include Mr. Blik in Catscratch (2005–2007) and Haskell Lutz in The Exes (2011–2015).
