Susan Alexandra “Sigourney” Weaver (born October 8, 1949) is an American actress. Dubbed “the Sci-Fi Queen,” Weaver is considered to be a pioneer of action heroines in science fiction films. She is primarily known for her role as Ellen Ripley in the Alien franchise.
