Rambo III is a 1988 American action-adventure film directed by Peter MacDonald. The film depicts fictional events during the Soviet-Afghan War. It is the third film in the Rambo franchise, following First Blood and Rambo: First Blood Part II. Rambo in 2008 and Rambo V, in turn, followed it: Last Blood in 2019, making it the last film to feature Richard Crenna as Colonel Sam Trautman before his death in 2003.

It is a fun movie and often a good story, but not one of these idiots has a lick of sense. That is probably why they were so gung-ho to invade Iraq.
