My favorite films. This is a more emotional score than 9 out of 10 and films with this score certainly may have flaws sometimes quite serious. Something about the film works with this reviewer on a personal level.
Robocop is that rare eighties film that seems to only get better with time.
Considering this was directed by a guy whose only film at the time was Piranha II: The Spawning. It seems like a miracle.
Imagine a comic book movie that felt like reading a comic book. What will they think of next?
If you ever want to introduce MST3K to a potential new fan, this is an excellent film to start with.
