Armed and Dangerous (2003): The graphics and gameplay get better as the game progresses and new weapons become available. An overall fun romp. Gotta love that Landshark gun.
Catherine (2011): If you like good more adult themed Anime and don’t mind earning your pudding, Catherine is an excellent game.
Diablo III (2012): Diablo III is a blast. Turn your mind off and enjoy yourself for a while. It is not a game where that narrative or gameplay will get its hooks into you. There is no stirring the plot romances of Mass Effect or the just one more turn addiction of Civilization. No, just the pleasure of better loot and numbers go higher.
Fable II & III: They’re not just games. They’re little playgrounds full of personality, humor, charm, and Stephen Fry monologues.
They let you make your own joy.
Rayman Legends (2013): The reviewers nailed it on Rayman Legends. It is excellent, and it is accessible. It is going to make me stop playing Crusader Kings III or Diablo IV anytime soon. No. But I am glad for the time I took trying something new. And yes, I know better than to try the Crash Bandicoot remaster. Nostalgia rarely recalls endless frustration, and I know a trap when I see one.
