A zombie film is a film genre. Zombies are fictional creatures usually portrayed as reanimated corpses or virally infected human beings. They are commonly portrayed as cannibalistic. While zombie films fall into the horror genre, some crossover into other genres, such as comedy, science fiction, thriller, or romance. Note to Australian filmmakers. Stop trying to be Peter Jackson. Also if you are going to go to all the trouble to rent camera equipment and hire actors why not write a story down and film that.
